Art on the Subway?
Yesterday morning at 5:30 AM I went with Ken to take photos of him putting up art in the subways. He's going to see the reaction he gets from these posters. He's posted them where real ads would go. The posters all have a message. We put up 3 today. We rode with them to Jamaica Queens and back to Brooklyn. Only one was taken down, either by the MTA or a passenger. I'm hoping to snag one of these orginal pieces. So far he's only putting them on the F train, which is my train.

The Beatles
I met this man in Central Park by Strawberry Fields. He had the Beatles tattooed on both of his arms. Young Beatles on the right and old on the left. It was September 11th and he brought flowers from John Lennon's garden in London to place on the "Imagine" display. He suggested I go see the Fab Four who are suppose to be the best Beatles cover band.

Picnic
I planned a picnic with Nicole. We went to Central Park. I made ham and cheese sandwiches, corn on-the-cob, a beet salad and grapes. I also had some vodka and soda. I stopped at a restaurant to get my plastic cups filled with ice. It was a great day. We went to see a Mapplethorpe show at the Guggenheim afterwards.

PS1
During the summers PS1 opens up on Saturday as a mini rave with dancing and DJs. They have a designer create the courtyard/dance area. This was my first time going. Jason and I waited in line for about an hour and a half. The dance floor was a wooden platform that was surrounded in bent bamboo that let out mist all night.
