Montauk 2004

When you live in New York the place to be in the summer is the Hamptons. Unless you're super cool then you go to Montauk, the very end of the island. It's a 3 hour train ride. When you want to go out, you pile into taxi vans.

This is in the Berkshires, Monument Mountain. James and I climbed it one morning. From it's 1,735 summit you can see three states. We went there in August 2003, but the photo ran in "Country Living" in the July 2004 issue.
